Illustration and design
Course overview - illustration and design
Tohungia ki te paetukutuku - Welcome to METAVERSE (a collection of links to help guide artistic direction) and Creative Media design modules; Illustration & Design. Within your respective discipline/s you are required to focus on specific areas of interest and in the process submit two projects based on briefs supplied this semester.
Workshops, demonstrations and tutorials will introduce you to a range of tools and techniques. However, as a developing designer/illustrator you will need to thoroughly investigate visual direction, processes and techniques on your own in line with IBL (Inquiry-based learning). Within this course - thorough process and investigation is paramount to the success of your final work.
For out of class feedback and or sending final work in a pdf format - use the email navigation button (top right of homepage screen). Larger works and or work for submission outside of size spec and format - please supply through cloud links such as Google Drive, Dropbox or shared Creative Cloud files/links... or just supply on flash-drive.
